Born in Saint-Tropez, Geraldine Marguerite grew up bathed in the light of the South, immersed in an environment where artistic creation was a constant presence from childhood. Dance, music, and the visual arts accompanied her path, gradually shaping her artistic vision. Long focused on professions dedicated to transmission and sharing, she developed a deep sensitivity to what connects people and to the delicate forms of the living world. Photography marked a decisive turning point: it became a space for fully realized self-expression and a dialogue between personal experience and artistic exploration.
She chooses to sign her work under the name Marguerite, as a tribute to two women in her family lineage. This name embodies a memory, but also an act of emancipation : that of allowing a voice and a creative power, long kept silent, to finally emerge.
