Adonis draws upon the mythological figure of fleeting beauty and rebirth to explore a profoundly feminine metamorphosis. This photographic series traces the path of a universal quest : that of the free woman. Through an interplay of textile materials evoking the primordial cocoon, each image captures the quiver of a shedding.

From the protective chrysalis to the casting off of old skins, a new cycle unfolds. Moving from shadow toward light, this intimate journey culminates in the unfurling of wings; symbols of emancipation, grace, and elevation.
